Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.33 17″ (Late 2006)

An Icon of Mobile Computing

The powerhouse MacBook Pro line of laptops is the first of Apple’s notebooks to employ Intel processors and has become an icon of mobile computing.

Though dated compared to the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display, this model features an optical disc drive and is far more configurable compared to the Retina models’ “sealed” design. This not only amounts to more options for upgrades, but far cheaper repairs as well.

With a blazing fast processor, more RAM than the average user will ever need, and space for massive hard drive configurations, the MacBook Pro 17″ is the perfect mobile platform for professionals and casual users alike.

Miles ahead of its PowerBook predecessor, this early MacBook Pro sports an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with an Apple-advertised 39% speed increase over the previous Core Duo model.

The vibrant 17″ display is impressive in and of itself, providing an abundance of space for users who need a portable powerhouse of a machine.

The 17″ MacBook Pro is a truly versatile design — perfect for a home office or workstation, for professionals on the go, or for casual users with a need for computing excellence. It doesn’t stop there! The MacBook Pro is employed heavily by designers, photographers, developers, and lovers of creative projects in general.
