Apple MacBook Pro Core i5 2.6 13″ (Late 2013)
The perfect compromise for those seeking a compact yet powerful platform
The MacBook Pro with Retina Display models combine an impressive high-resolution LED-backlit 13.3″ widescreen 2560×1600 (227 ppi) Retina display with an elegant, light case design (3.5 lbs/1.57 kg).
Apple’s MacBook Pro with Retina Display has been called a “sealed” design. The RAM is soldered in place and cannot be upgraded after purchase and the “integrated” battery is impossible to safely remove. In effect, this means that most damages sustained by one of these systems will require replacement of the logic board.
Most savvy users will agree that the MacBook Pro is an absolutely fantastic system for designers, and the new Retina Display models uphold that consensus. The high-resolution displays provide unrivaled clarity down to the smallest detail.
The MacBook Pro with Retina Display is also employed heavily by video editors, photographers, developers, and even gamers.
Smaller and lighter than it’s big brother, the 13″ MacBook Pro is the perfect compromise for those seeking the compact, mobile platform provided by Apple’s MacBook Air series of laptops while retaining the trademark power of the MacBook Pro.
